What’s the best way to work clay soil?
I’ve already taken the sod off, turned the soil, and added some peat. Right now I’m raking it to get some of the rocks out.
I’m trying to lighten the soil a little more. What is the best tool to use to work some more peat into the soil? A rake, a hoe, or something else?

I’m looking for a suggestion for a manual tool. For instance a hoe versus a rake. I really don’t want to use a rototiller.
